The remake of alien action-adventure game Destroy All Humans  will soon be available for the Nintendo Switch, with a release date set for this summer.

From publisher THQ Nordic and its subsidiary development studio Black Forest Games, Destroy All Humans  is a remake of the successful 2005 title. This sci-fi title tasks players with destroying all humans in their paths as the alien clone Crypto-137 ravages the Earth. It's set in the 1950s when fear of UFOs and flying saucers began spreading, but pokes fun at the expected corny humor of that decade.

As a remake, the gameplay in Destroy All Humans  is largely the same as in the original, but with sleek new graphics. Players can engage in combat with the military on foot, featuring classic science fiction weaponry like a Disintegrator Ray and a Plasma Blaster, or players can scour for enemies in a spaceship and obliterate entire buildings and cities.

The Switch port of Destroy All Humans  is due out on June 29 and includes the Skin Pack  DLC, which appears as a $10 add-on for all other platforms on digital storefronts. Players will get to take on the world as Crypto and all of its cheesy alien glory for $39.99, with all previously released Destroy All Humans  skins included in the base game price.

In addition to the standard version, there are also two special editions of Destroy All Humans  on the way as well. The DNA Collector's Edition includes the base game, a Crypto 'N' Cow figurine, a keychain, six lithographic, and an anti-stress toy. The Crypto-137 Edition of Destroy All Humans  features all the same items plus a backpack.

Destroy All Humans  is available now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, and it is coming to Switch on June 29, 2021.
