Ultimately, this context surrounding the Nine could prove to be useful, given that The Edge of Fate expansion will heavily involve this mysterious faction.

Players can participate in the Rite of the Nine event without needing to own the associated Dungeon Keys in Destiny 2.

Destiny 2’s New Iron Banner Scout Rifle is a Must-Have

With the return of Iron Banner from May 20-27, there is a new legendary weapon to earn from this event: Nature Reclaimed. This Solar, lightweight frame scout rifle can notably roll with heal-clip and other perks that can compete with the current meta for legendary weapons in Destiny 2, which makes for a fine addition to players’ collections. Aside from the new scout rifle, another reason to participate in Iron Banner is that this PvP event also allows players to double-dip and earn reputation and exclusive rewards from both Iron Banner and Crucible simultaneously.

Iron Banner will return on June 17-24, which will be the final run of this event before The Edge of Fate expansion releases.
