Destiny 2 Leak Teases Crossover With Popular Game Franchise
A new Destiny 2 leak is shared, and it reveals that Bungie's game will get content based on another franchise much loved by gamers.
In the meantime, the weekend merchant Xur has returned with a new inventory of exotics and legendary gear for Destiny 2 players. Follow this guide for his current weekend location, news on his exotic cipher quest, as well as a review of all the exotic and legendary gear he's brought for the weekend of October 11, 2024.
Where is Xur?
Xur has now taken up permanent residence in the Bazaar area inside The Tower, so there's no more hunting when the weekend comes around.
Since the Bazaar is located between both fast travel points, players can pick either one to load into. Head into the area where Ikora and Hawthorne are and look for the Ramen Shop towards the back wall. While facing the shop, the alley is to the right, where Xur is standing.
Destiny 2 Class Armor and Exotic Cipher
Xur's role continues to offer the usual weekly quests, exotics, and legendary gear. Not only are these quests required to purchase a second fated engram, but they're necessary to acquire legacy exotic gear from the Tower kiosk. Players can earn a new cipher by completing strikes and winning crucible or gambit matches. Gain bonus points for playing with clan mates or finishing more challenging activities.
Xur's Exotic Armor
Felwinter's Helm - Warlock helmet
Exotic Perk:
- Warlord's End - Powered melee final blows create a burst of energy that weakens nearby targets. Finishers and final blows against more powerful targets increase the radius of the burst and the length of the weakening effect.
The highest rolled exotic this week belongs to Felwinter's Helm, though the main problem is that Mobility is one of the highest values, which isn't great for Warlocks.
Stat Values (65 Total):
- Mobility +19
- Resilience +10
- Recovery +2
- Discipline +10
- Intellect +22
- Strength +2
Wormhusk Crown - Hunter helmet
Exotic Perk:
- Burning Souls - Dodging gives a small health and shield bump.
While this is normally a solid exotic, the roll with Xur this week is okay at best, coming in at a 62 overall. For those who don't have it, its worth a purchase, but for everyone else, pass.
Stat Values (62 Total):
- Mobility +13
- Resilience +8
- Recovery +9
- Discipline +12
- Intellect +14
- Strength +6
Helm of Saint-14 - Titan helmet
Exotic Perk:
- Starless Night - Targets that enter Ward of Dawn are blinded, while allies that pass through gain a weapon damage boost. Guarding with Sentinel Shield blinds nearby targets.
A solid roll, even if the overall value is lower than most players would like. At least Mobility isn't too high this week...
Stat Values (62 total):
- Mobility +2
- Resilience +19
- Recovery +11
- Discipline +9
- Intellect +15
- Strength +6
