Xur has returned again to Destiny 2, complete with new exotic and legendary gear for players to check out for a limited time. With Hunters claiming a narrow victory for Guardian Games AllStars 2024, players have turned their attention towards April 9 when Into the Light launches for Destiny 2. Two streams out of three have already revealed a ton of new information about the upcoming content, including Destiny 2's take on a Horde-style mode called Onslaught.
Recently, Bungie also showcased the Hall of Champions, a new social space governed by Lord Shaxx, where players can redeem Trophies of Bravery, earn ranks, and complete bounties from Arcite. Throughout April, Bungie will be adding weapons inside a collection called the BRAVE Arsenal, comprised of 12 returning fan favorites such as Recluse, Mountaintop, Blast Furnace, and more. Players will also be able to unlock a unique set of class armor inspired by initial designs at the start of Destiny 2.
For now though, the weekend merchant Xur has returned again with a whole selection of exotics and legendary gear for Destiny 2 players over the next few days. Where is Xur?
This weekend, Xur can be found back in the Tower Hangar.
Start by fast traveling to the Courtyard, then heading to the left once loaded in. Continue following the path to the Hangar, but instead of heading to Saint as one would for the Trials of Osiris, head to the left towards the stairs and catwalks to the back of the area. Xur can be found standing here, overlooking the mountains off in the distance.
Destiny 2 Class Armor and Exotic Cipher
Xur's role continues to offer the usual weekly quests, exotics, and legendary gear. Not only are these quests required to purchase a second fated engram, but they're necessary to acquire legacy exotic gear from the Tower kiosk. Players can earn a new cipher by completing strikes and winning crucible or gambit matches. Gain bonus points for playing with clan mates or finishing more challenging activities.

Contraverse Hold - Warlock gauntlets
Exotic Perk:
- Chaotic Exchanger - Resist incoming damage while charging a Void grenade. Charged Void grenades return grenade energy on a hit.
Unfortunately for Warlocks, not only do they have the lowest rolled exotic item this week, but they are also absurdly high in Mobility, a trait which doesn't suit this class nearly as well as Hunters.

Aeon Swift - Hunter gauntlets
Exotic Perk:
- Aeon's Wrath - Rapid precision hits with a weapon temporarily increase reload speed and weapon swap speed.
- Foebreaker Chant - Stunning a Champion or landing rapid precision hits on a powerful combatant will mark them. Your allies deal increased damage to marked combatants. When a combatant is first marked, nearby Aeon Cult allies who do not have the Sect of Force role equipped gain grenade and melee energy.
At once, the Aeon set armor was viewed as some of the worst in the game, but after Bungie reworked them entirely, the gear is now viewed by many as a must-have item to help with endgame level content. These aren't going to be for all players, but for those looking to tackle some tougher content, the Aeon Swift armor may come in handy.

Antaeus Wards - Titan leg armor
Exotic Perk:
- Reflective Vents - While sliding with full class ability energy, you gain a frontal shield that reflects incoming damage. After reflecting damage, your class ability energy is depleted based on the amount of damage reflected.
In what has become a worrying trend, these Titan boots have the highest spike of mobility across all three exotics this week, largely a worthless stat for this class. On the other hand, the overall roll is a high 68 and considering these are largely a movement based exotic, the high mobility isn't a terrible option on these.

Xur's Exotic Weapon
The Black Talon is back in stock this weekend with Xur, and it's still worth a look for those who don't yet have it. Black Talon's advantage over other swords is the fact that it can also launch projectile attacks using the heavy attack. So, while it's still deadly up close, players can also damage enemies from a safe distance away as well.
Weapon Perks:
- Crow's Wings - [Heavy Attack]: Fire a heavy projectile attack. Heavy attacks are stronger with full energy.
- Tireless Blade - Sword ammo granted for every other powered sword kill.

- Heavy Guard
Hawkmoon Hand Cannon Perks
At this point, Xur is only selling Hawkmoon with randomized rolls, but its time is limited once Harbinger is ultimately added to the Exotic Mission Rotator and makes the hand cannon craftable. Either way, here is the roll Xur has this weekend:
