Xur has returned again to Destiny 2, complete with new exotic and legendary gear for players to check out for a limited time. With the return of the weekly blog post for Destiny 2, Bungie announced a couple of highly requested fan-specific features. With the Glimmer cap getting doubled to 500,000 in an upcoming update, Bungie also confirmed that sometime prior to The Final Shape, Destiny 2 players will be able to modify their character's appearance from the select menu.
While a date wasn't confirmed, the post also revealed the first vote for the 2024 edition of the Festival of the Lost. While previous armor sets included mechs, dinosaurs, and other creepy crawlies, Bungie showed off concept art for Good Wizards versus Bad Wizards. Players will be able to vote on which armor set they'd like to be made available for purchase, with Good Wizards prominently featuring blue and gold, while Evil sports black and purple.
In the meantime, Xur is back again with a whole selection of exotics and legendaries for Destiny 2 players over the next few days. Where is Xur?
Over the next few days, Xur can be found inside the European Dead Zone.
Fast travel to the Winding Cove area of the EDZ, then run to the back of the zone where the Fallen are located. Xur can be found up on a ledge near some wreckage overlooking the zone from a ledge.
Class Armor and Exotic Cipher
Xur's role continues to offer the usual weekly quests, exotics, and legendary gear. Not only are these quests required to purchase a second fated engram, but they're necessary to acquire legacy exotic gear from the Tower kiosk. Players can earn a new cipher by completing strikes and winning crucible or gambit matches. Gain bonus points for playing with clan mates or finishing more challenging activities.
Xur continues to sell even more gear outside his usual content. In addition to his normal exotic gear, Xur now has Legendary Weapons and Armor for sale in exchange for Legendary Shards and Glimmer.
Exotic Armor
Getaway Artist - Warlock gauntlets
Exotic Perk:
Dynamic Duo - Convert your Arc grenade into an Arc Soul and become amplified. The Arc Soul functions as an autonomous turret.
Featuring a high stat roll of 66, the distribution is a little off from what most Warlocks would consider ideal with a very high mobility stat. Still, this is a handy exotic that gives players more firepower and an easy way to tap into the bonuses of being amplified.

Gemini Jester - Hunter leg armor
Exotic Perk:
Misdirection - Dodging disorients nearby enemies and temporarily removes their radar.
The highest total of the bunch this week belongs to the Gemini Jester Hunter leg armor. It can be a fun exotic to mess around in, especially in the Crucible where the special effect can really mess with other players, but there are much better exotic options overall..

Peregrine Greaves - Titan leg armor
Exotic Perk:
Peregrine Strike - All shoulder charge abilities (Seismic Strike, Hammer Strike, or Shield Bash) deal bonus damage when activated in the air. Damaging mini-bosses, Tormentors, or Champions with shoulder charge refunds melee ability. Provides a small benefit to the airborne effectiveness stat of all weapons.
The Peregrine Greaves received a big buff at the start of Season of the Wish, so they're more viable now than ever before. For that reason along they're worth a look, even if the stat roll isn't the best of the bunch this week.

Exotic Weapon
Just on sale a few weeks ago, not much has changed with the Cabal inspired scout rifle, Skyburner's Oath. The defining feature of this weapon comes from its perk Slug Rifle which alters the firing rate of the weapon. Skyburner's Oath lobs explosive rounds that get stronger and faster when aiming down the sights. Instead of lobbing shots that track when hip firing, aiming down the sights actually turns the fired rounds into a faster, straighter, and more damaging explosive bullet. It also does more damage to Cabal enemies and rips through Phalanx Shields.
It can be fun to mess around with, especially in activities where there are a lot of Cabal enemies, but ultimately, it's not likely going to replace any of the popular meta exotics in Season of the Wish.

Hawkmoon Rolls
At this point, Xur is only selling Hawkmoon with randomized rolls, but its time is limited once Harbinger is ultimately added to the Exotic Mission Rotator and makes the hand cannon craftable. Either way, here is the roll Xur has this weekend:
