Xur has returned again to Destiny 2, complete with new exotic and legendary gear for players to check out for a limited time. As has become tradition as of late, Bungie once again provided Destiny 2 fans with a ton of new details this week in the weekly blog post. After teasing a handful of changes to the PvP Crucible, Bungie's latest post revealed an extensive list of changes coming to the PvP side of Destiny 2 from game modes, ability cooldowns, different game modes, and much, much more.
Alongside the Crucible, the longstanding Prophecy dungeon is getting big changes in March. While the encounter isn't changing, the loot players will be uncovering is, as three weapons are getting removed from the loot pool, being replaced by primary weapons, with the existing loot getting a variety of new perk options. In addition to refreshed loot, all Prophecy weapons will be dropping with the Crossing Over Origin Trait, making the first half of the ammo magazine grant a range and handling bonus, with the second half boosting damage.
With the weekend finally here, Xur has returned again with a whole selection of exotics and legendary gear for Destiny 2 players over the next few days. Where is Xur?
This weekend, Destiny 2 players can find Xur in the EDZ.
Fast travel to the Winding Cove zone and immediately head towards the back where the Fallen typically patrol. Climb the cliffs back here to find Xur standing on a ledge not too far from a crashed ship.
Destiny 2 Class Armor and Exotic Cipher
Xur's role continues to offer the usual weekly quests, exotics, and legendary gear. Not only are these quests required to purchase a second fated engram, but they're necessary to acquire legacy exotic gear from the Tower kiosk. Players can earn a new cipher by completing strikes and winning crucible or gambit matches. Gain bonus points for playing with clan mates or finishing more challenging activities.
Xur continues to sell even more gear outside his usual content. In addition to his normal exotic gear, Xur now has Legendary Weapons and Armor for sale in exchange for Legendary Shards and Glimmer.

Karnstein Armlets - Warlock gauntlets
Exotic Perk:
- Vampire's Caress - Melee and finisher final blows instantly grant cure and provide restoration for a short duration.
Strong survivability exotic thanks to its ability to life steal, even though players will need to get up close and personal with enemies. The roll on this is pretty solid as well, with a very high recovery, so this may be something worth adding this weekend.

Khepri's Sting - Hunter gauntlets
Exotic Perk:
- Touch of Venom - Punching someone with full melee energy will instantly cast Smoke Bomb. Your Smoke Bombs deal increased damage, regenerate more quickly when stuck to a surface, and grant you Truesight after damaging a target.
The biggest thing going against Khepri's Sting this week is the disappointing roll, coming in much lower than the other two exotics. As such, it's not a must-have this week.

Mk. 44 Stand Asides - Titan leg armor
Exotic Perk:
- Seriously, Watch Out - Grants an overshield when you're sprinting at full health with Seismic Strike, Hammer Strike, or Shield Bash equipped and charged. Hits with these abilities recharge a portion of melee energy.
Well, the Stand Asides are back with Xur after being available just recently. In that time, not much has really changes, though all in all, a fairly balanced roll this week, so for those who may have missed it before, these may be a solid pickup.

Xur's Exotic Weapon
The versatile Arbalest linear fusion rifle is on sale this weekend with Xur and, frankly, it's a weapon that players should have on hand as it's naturally strong against barrier champions.
A kinetic linear fusion rifle that was introduced during the Revelry event in 2019, Arbalest called Compounding Force that makes the weapon fire slugs that cause massive damage to enemies that are protected by an elemental shield. Paired with that is the Legendary trait Disruption Break which temporarily makes enemies more vulnerable to kinetic damage when an elemental shield is broken.

Hawkmoon Hand Cannon Perk Rolls
At this point, Xur is only selling Hawkmoon with randomized rolls, but its time is limited once Harbinger is ultimately added to the Exotic Mission Rotator and makes the hand cannon craftable. Either way, here is the roll Xur has this weekend:
