The main quest line for Destiny 2 Season of the Wish takes Guardians back to the Dreaming City in an attempt to get help from an unlikely ally. Riven, the now-deceased last Ahamkara, may be the only means of chasing after the Witness, but as always, getting help from a wish-granting dragon comes at a price.
The delayed release of Destiny 2: The Final Shape has made Season of the Wish one of the longest seasons in the game so far. Season of the Wish is slated to end on June 4, 2024, right before the launch of The Final Shape. This will be the game's final season, as Destiny 2 is slated to ditch seasons for episodes following the events of the expansion.
