The player shared their creation online in the DestinyFashion subreddit, a hub dedicated to fan-created Destiny 2 armor combinations. "Boots of the Assembler makes me feel like a turret, so I became one haha," jokes the player, sharing several images of their impressive creation online. Portal turrets are an iconic enemy in the video game world and are known for having an iconic flat-white color palette, as well as one glowing red eye in the middle. Because color is such an important component of a Portal turret's identity and aesthetic, armor pieces are not the only things players will need in order to recreate this set. Creative armor combinations are nothing new for the Destiny 2 community, with players constantly showing off their impressive and unique builds. One Destiny 2 player turned themselves into Marty McFly from the Back to the Future franchise, complete with the iconic hoverboard used throughout the films. Brushing up on players' FPS skills will greatly help them throughout Destiny 2. However, the community has proven it's just as important to look cool while fighting The Witch Queen or traversing the Sol System.
