A Destiny 2 player has paid creative tribute to the Sith Stranger, a character from the Star Wars: The Acolyte TV show in the form of a customized in-game costume. Their costume uses Destiny 2 Titan cosmetic parts to mimic the costume and unique mask of one of The Acolyte's major villains.
Even before Bungie added the ability to freely create custom looks from Destiny 2's vast selection of unique armor pieces, players would often keep arrangements of gear they liked just for showing off around the Tower or having fun with friends and strangers while looking good. Thanks to the transmog effects of the armor ornament system, though, it's much easier to get a specific look out of Destiny 2, whether it's going for a particular mood to match one's subclass or summoning Autobot leader Optimus Prime to the front lines of the battle against the Last City's foes.

Spoilers for Star Wars: The Acolyte Follow For player iixVanquishxX, the battle against humanity's enemies calls not just for powers from the Darkness, such as Stasis or Strand, but for a fighter from the Dark Side of the Force. To that end, they shared with the DestinyFashion Reddit community their concept for a Titan costume based on the mysterious masked Sith Stranger that menaced the latter parts of The Acolyte's first season.
Destiny 2 Titan Costume Channels the Sith Stranger from The Acolyte
The Sith Stranger costume created by iixVanquishxX is designed for use by a Destiny 2 Titan Guardian, which may seem unusual, considering most Titans wear heavy, bulky armor styles, as opposed to the Sith Stranger's unencumbered look, which was reportedly inspired by Elden Ring players that fight "naked." The look of the Stranger's distinctive mask was emulated by the Parade Helm from the Into the Light update and colored with the Tangled Rust Shader.
The rest of the costume was almost as important, because the Stranger, also known as Sith Lord Qimir, is quite distinctive compared to other Force users throughout Star Wars history. Rather than wearing the thick robes of a Jedi or using an armored outfit like Darth Revan or Darth Vader, Qimir wears light clothes and goes without sleeves. That "sleeveless" look is provided by the low-profile Augmented Auspice ornament for the Synthoceps Exotic arm piece, colored in the light, skin-like tone of the Gambit Suede shader. The Qimir look is completed by the Fortnite crossover Knightly Noire Plate, the Witcher crossover Kaer Morhen Greaves, and the skirt-like Hexwrought Mark from the Season of the Witch, all colored using the Superblack shader.
To further accentuate the "Sith-like" look of the costume, iixVanquishxX used action poses featuring their Titan wielding melee weapons and standing with an energized Seraph Valkyrie weapon to mimic the appearance of a lightsaber. Players praised the creativity of the ensemble, particularly in achieving a low-profile sleeveless appearance on the normally bulky Titan class. Other players took the appearance of an attractive new Star Wars-inspired Destiny 2 costume to call for a proper lightsaber-like weapon for Guardians to employ in-game.
