Tinasha’s Mastery is easily one of the most popular Rocket Sidearms in Destiny 2, and it beats out the competition for Special Ammo weapons in the Primary Slot when it comes to Legendary guns, leaving plenty of room to experiment with some powerful Exotics. Considering Tinasha’s Mastery is such a popular and powerful PvE choice, players might want to know how to get it.
All Rocket Sidearms In Destiny 2, Ranked
Here's how each Rocket Sidearm in Destiny 2 stacks up against each other.
It’s important to know how to get Tinasha’s Mastery and the Tinasha’s Mastery God Roll for PvE so that players have a Stasis Rocket Sidearm in their arsenal to help them conquer the competition against the enemies of humanity, so long as the player seeking it isn’t afraid of a little PvP action…
How to Get Tinasha’s Mastery in Destiny 2
Tinasha’s Mastery can only be obtained via Iron Banner matches and Iron Banner engrams decrypted at Lord Saladin in the Tower. Iron Banner is a limited-time PvP mode, and while it was last active on April 1, 2025, it has not been announced as to when Iron Banner will return. Either way, when Iron Banner does return, players will need to complete Iron Banner matches found in the Crucible playlist to earn Iron Banner engrams and rank-ups so that they can then decrypt those engrams into roles of Tinasha’s Mastery.
If players have not yet earned Tinasha’s Mastery through random Iron Banner rewards and engrams, they will not be able to use their Iron Banner engrams to decrypt specific weapons, so try and save up some engrams until Tinasha’s Mastery drops after a win or lose from an Iron Banner match.

- The God Roll to look out for is Air Trigger & Chill Clip.
For Perk 1, players are going to want Air Trigger. Air Trigger increases ammo reserves and also allows players to have a faster reload speed and an increase in accuracy when they are airborne, effectively meaning that they can use Tinasha’s Mastery for faster-firing engagements as long as they bunny hop the reload. Air Trigger is easily the best option for Perk 1, but a decent alternative is Loose Change, which provides an increase to Tinasha’s Mastery’s reload speed after applying an elemental debuff to a target.
When it comes to Perk 2, Chill Clip is a must-have, especially with a high magazine size thanks to Backup Rounds as the ammo mod of choice, and with Air Trigger. With Chill Clip, direct hits with the top half of the magazine will cause detonations that slow targets, and thanks to this Stasis Rocket Sidearm, that means enemies are going to slow, freeze, and shatter.
