After you have beaten the Herald of Finality in the previous encounter of Salvation's Edge in Destiny 2, you will have some platforming to do before you reach the third encounter. The next encounter, Repository, is very similar to the third encounter of Vow of the Disciple in that it is a chaotic gauntlet encounter.
Just like the first encounter of Salvation's Edge, there is no boss fight, and it is just a series of puzzles with add clear. Make sure you bring weapons that are both good for add clear and have good range, as there will be Scorpious Turrets that can easily cause a wipe if you are not careful. Make sure to adjust your loadout so that you can counter Unstoppable Champions as well.
Destiny 2: Salvation's Edge Loot Table
Salvation's Edge offers a new set of gear that Destiny 2 players will want to get. Here are all of the equipment you can get from this raid.
Repository Guide
This encounter consists of three floors. In order to open the door to the next room, you must use the plates to create Resonance, close the conduits, and then deposit the Resonance into the chest. There will be three different shapes for Resonance. In addition to the triangles and circles from the second encounter, there will now be Square Resonance (also referred to as Hexahedron Resonance). Once again, there are three sets of connected plates, so you will need to divide the raid into three groups of two.
Once the encounter begins, each team will need to kill a Tormentor. Be mindful of who gets the final blow on the Tormentor. Whoever kills a Tormentor gets the Stolen Favor buff from the second encounter. Killing the Tormentors will activate the plates, but don't let your guard down once the Tormentors are dead. Shortly after the Tormentors are dealt with, several Scorpious Turrets will spawn throughout the room. If a player is caught unaware, these turrets can easily kill them.
When that threat is dealt with, you can safely begin the process of bouncing the beam of light between plates. As with the previous encounters, timing is important. Messing up will spawn a Subjugator, forcing you to waste precious time killing it. After everyone has gathered enough stacks of the Resonance buff, it will be time to shoot and close the conduits. The tricky part is that you will need to pay attention to which type of Resonance is required to close the conduit.
The players who have the Stolen Favor buff will be able to see this. Ideally, each side will have someone who has the Stolen Favor buff. If not, one player who has the buff will have to go to another team's conduit and tell them what type of Resonance they will need. When all the conduits have been closed, a glowing chest will appear. Deposit your stacks of the Resonance buff into this chest, and a group of adds accompanied by an Unstoppable Champion will appear. Quickly kill all of these adds and the door behind them will open, allowing you and your team to go up to the next floor.
On the second floor, you will need to be very careful about positioning when fighting the Tormentors that spawn. When a Tormentor does its jump and dive attack, it is very easy to get knocked off the edge and sent falling to your death. For the most part, you will be doing the same mechanics on the second and third floor as you did on the first floor. However, the lines that connect plates will begin to cross. Essentially, you and your team will have to be more mindful of where the plates are and how they connect. Other than that, the mechanics for the second and third floors are the exact same as the first floor.
Once you have deposited all of your Resonance on the third floor and killed the Unstoppable Champion that spawns, you will have completed the third encounter. The key to beating this encounter is to kill adds quickly and then execute the plate mechanic as efficiently as possible. Messing up too many times or not depositing enough Resonance can leave you with not enough time to clear the second or third floor.
