What is The Edge of Fate's Power Cap in Destiny 2?
- Base Power: 10 (Starting Point)
- Soft Power Cap: 200 (Rare and Legendary Gear)
- Power Cap: 400 (Portal Activities)
- Hard Power Cap: 450 (Prime Engrams from Portal Activities)
Every player will start Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate with a base Power of 10. The next goal in mind for players is to gain superior armor and weapons to raise their Power, where the Persistent Power cap will be 200. This means that 200 is the Soft Power Cap, but that doesn't mean it stops there. Players can further raise their Power Cap beyond 200 by obtaining New Gear with Seasonal Bonus Power. Seasonal Bonus Power is rewarded to players who experience harder difficulty activities, allowing players to raise their Power Level to the Standard Power Cap of 400, and then to the maximum Hard Power Cap of 450. Players should be aware that the Seasonal Bonus Power resets at the end of every Season, meaning players will start the next Season back at 200 Power.
