One fan of Destiny 2 has shared a fantastic Iron Man-inspired outfit of their own design, a cosplay made possible thanks to a new Vex-themed armor ornament set that was recently introduced to the game's Eververse store. Fashion enthusiasts in Destiny 2 never cease to impress with the outfits they put together, and with several new armor sets and exotics having been introduced with the game's new Edge of Fate expansion, players have even more cosmetic options to choose from.

Strange as it may seem for a game where players take the role of superheroes protecting the last remnants of humanity, fashion is actually among the most popular aspects of Destiny 2, with many considering perfecting their armor decoration to be the "true" endgame. Fans have shared tons of amazing custom outfits for their Destiny 2 characters over the years, combining countless armor pieces and color shaders to create outfits that range from the awe-inspiring to the utterly ridiculous. Some of the community's most talented fashion fans even manage to have their Guardians cosplay as other popular characters from throughout the realm of fiction.

Destiny 2 Fan Recreates Johnny Silverhand from Cyberpunk 2077

Destiny 2's expansive cosmetic options let players cosplay as just about anyone, with one fan dressing up as Cyberpunk 2077's Johnny Silverhand.

Though there are plenty of examples, including a recent Destiny 2 outfit that's based on the Doom Slayer's armor as he appears in Doom: The Dark Ages, one fan known online as Mother-Assistant-976 has shared their own custom Iron Man cosplay in the MMORPG. This particular fit uses Titan armor specifically, and does a fantastic job of capturing some of the Marvel superhero's most iconic features, including the faceplate design and miniature arc reactor in the chest. This level of accuracy is actually thanks to some of the new armor ornament sets that were recently made available through the Eververse store, specifically the Vex Malware armor ornaments for Titans.

This Destiny 2 Player's Iron Man Outfit Is Spot-On But Costly To Replicate

The outfit specifically uses the Vex Malware chest armor and legs, although this does make the outfit quite an expensive one to replicate, as these new armor ornaments can currently only be obtained as a set via Eververse for 1,500 Silver, Destiny 2's premium currency, which can typically only be obtained with real money. Aside from those pieces, the outfit uses the Kabr's Brazen Grips as the arms, the Darth Vader crossover Titan mark, and Techsec helm. While not explicitly stated by the creator of this outfit, it's likely that they used a combination of Molten Bronze and House of Meyrin shaders across these armor pieces.

While many players like to create their own custom outfits based on other pop-culture characters, Bungie has been making things easier in recent years with many official crossovers with other franchises. Some official collaboration sets include armor based on designs from Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, The Witcher, and more. Destiny 2 also features its own Star-Wars outfits, and is even receiving an entire expansion later this year which is based on the Lucasfilm franchise.
