Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate brings about a fresh bundle of weapons to enjoy, complete with new perks and potential god rolls. However, one of the more interesting weapons to debut is the Mint Retrograde, a Rocket-Assisted Frame Pulse Rifle. Mint Retrograde is the first of its kind in Destiny 2, providing players with a Pulse Rifle that fires rockets for some lethal effects. It's new, exciting, and worthy of a god roll find. Listed below is exactly how players can get Mint Retrograde and the perks they will be seeking to farm for the Mint Retrograde god roll in Destiny 2.

How to Get Mint Retrograde in Destiny 2

Mint Retrograde is free for all players, meaning they do not need The Edge of Fate expansion to get it. In order to get Mint Retrograde, players will need to head into the Pinnacle Ops section found in The Portal. Completing any Exotic Mission in the Pinnacle Ops section will provide players with a Pinnacle Ops Gear Engram, and there's a chance that this Engram could drop a Mint Retrograde. Players should keep their eye on the Pinnacle Ops section every day to see if the reward rotation has changed, as some Exotic Missions will have Focused Loot, which means they can get a guaranteed drop of Mint Retrograde to farm for the god roll.

Despite a low ammo economy for Mint Retrograde as a Special Weapon, it's a gun that surpasses Rocket Sidearms in terms of damage, and has a wonderful set of trait combos that provide players with a stellar Mint Retrograde god roll. For the Perk 1 slot, players are going to want Rewind Rounds, as although the ammo supply is limited, this perk will ensure the gun is always loaded since Rewind Rounds will refill the weapon's magazines from the reserves depending on how many enemies were hit. For Perk 2, Chain Reaction ensures more damage and more death, as final blows will create an elemental damage explosion of Strand.

Mint Retrograde is not a good weapon for PvP, so a God Roll for the Crucible is not worth obtaining.
