If players are actively farming for Glimmer, then they are going to want to head to any easy Destination like the EDZ and begin a hunt for Public Events. Opening the map, players can see when the next available Public Event is, and they can rush there and create a Heroic variant of the Public Event. Doing so will increase Glimmer drops from the encounter chest, allowing players to earn over 14,000 Glimmer per run of a Heroic Public Event. Whilst it might be a tad grindy, players will definitely earn a fair share of Glimmer from doing so.

Xer has a permanent residence in the Tower, where once a week between Friday and Monday, players can head into his More Strange Offers tab to exchange Strange Coins for piles of Glimmer. It’s a quick one-time way to obtain Glimmer, and since players will have a stack of 99 Strange Coins from activities, they can spend 11 of them on 41,777 Glimmer and 57,077 Glimmer. Whilst this is only obtainable once a week and at a certain time, it’s still a great way to easily get over 90,000 Glimmer almost instantly, especially if players have Strange Coins but nothing to spend them on.
