The Guardian Games make a triumphant return in Destiny 2, and 2024 will see new challenges face Guardians alike. Whilst players wait for The Final Shape, the comatose Traveler sits above the orbit of Earth as a symbol of unity for the Guardians to rally behind, it’s time to let some stresses of what awaits Destiny 2 and the Witness go for a brief moment to enjoy the friendly competition between Titans, Hunters and Warlocks, all of which, can earn themselves the title of Champ to keep forever.

Champ is a beloved title in Destiny 2, and players can earn it during the annual Guardian Games, as well as gild it for the added flair of a gold title that resets annually. This exclusive event title will have players running through a few activities in Destiny 2 to claim themselves as the one true Champ, and the requirements aren’t all that hard to accomplish for their return in Season of the Wish.

Champ Title Requirements

Players must complete all 15 Event Card challenges during the Guardian Games 2024 limited-time event to earn the Champ title. They're not overly complex, and will simply require players to embark on a bit of a grind to unlock them all. In addition, players can upgrade their Event Card to earn Event Tickets, which they can spend on some unique cosmetics and emotes.

Once players have earned the Champ title, or they’re heading into Guardian Games 2024 already with a Champ title, then they can begin the process to Gild it.

Gilding the Champ title isn’t overly hard, and players will only need to complete 4 additional triumphs for the Gilded Title, as they would have already completed the Champ Triumph itself. Here are the requirements to Gild the Champ title:

Grand Slam	Reach the Platinum score threshold in the Guardian Games Nightfall playlist
Hall of Fame	Complete a Guardian Games Nightfall without dying. Also, complete a match of Supremacy with a score of at least 30 ("Deathless Ops" mission) (Supremacy Score)
Record Setter	Complete Platinum Contender Cards. Contender Cards can be purchased from Eva! (0/15)
Going the Distance	Bank Medallions at the podium in the Tower to contribute points towards your class standing! Higher-ranked Medallions contribute more points. (0/600)
