Nonary Manifolds are the new currency that players need to farm to get all Rite of the Nine weapons in Destiny 2, but getting more of these mysterious chips to trade for a chance of getting Holofoil and Adept weapons or powerful God Rolls is not as simple as it seems.
Destiny 2: Relentless God Rolls Guide
Relentless is a top-tier Pulse Rifle in Destiny 2. Here are the best PvE and PvP God Rolls you need to get.
Players will have to dig through some of the oldest content in Destiny 2, arming themselves with patience and completing many activities to get more. In this guide, players will learn all the possible ways to obtain Nonary Manifolds and the best (most efficient) way to farm them.
How To Get More Nonary Manifolds In Destiny 2
Nonary Manifolds are the main currency of the Rite of the Nine pre-season event. Currently, there are four ways to obtain more Nonary Manifold in Destiny 2:
- By killing enemies inside highlighted weekly activities (dungeon rotation).
- By exchanging Curio of the Nine.
- By completing encounters in Rite of the Nine dungeons.
- By completing Contracts for the Emissary of the Nine.
To make as many Nonary Manifolds as possible, players should use all of these methods combined. However, there's a way to get lots of this currency by farming an encounter on one of the highest levels of difficulty, then resetting and repeating.
Best Way To Farm Nonary Manifolds In Destiny 2
The best way to farm Nonary Manifolds in Destiny 2 is to complete the first encounter (Ascension) in Spire of the Watcher, on the highest difficulty level for Rite of the Nine, which is Ultimatum. The ascension is quite easy to achieve, even farming solo, and it only requires solving two puzzles, which players can learn by trying first in explorer mode.
Each completion of this encounter has no special bosses (besides some Hydras and Champions), so players only need to be careful and activate the Arctician buff on time to hit the buttons and activate the circuits. Each run of this encounter in Ultimatum difficulty will yield 90 Nonary Manifolds and a high chance to drop an Adept Weapon, and it requires around 7 minutes per completion, if players move fast during the first section of the Dungeon.
On the other hand, Ghosts of the Deep and Prophecy also have similar encounters that require a little bit of puzzle solving, though they are a little bit more difficult due to the number of enemies players need to clear out.
It is important to mention that Rite of the Nine Dungeon rotations last 3 weeks. The final week hosts all three dungeons at the same time.
How To Use Nonary Manifolds In Destiny 2
To claim a new weapon in Destiny 2 Rite of the Nine, players can use Nonary Manifolds at the Reward Chest in the event hub. Players can find this location in the Eternity tab, alongside the various highlighted activities for the week.
Each pull from the reward chest consumes 250 Nonary Manifolds, but these have a higher chance of yielding 'Holofoil' (shiny) weapons and Adept weapons. It is also possible to Attune to certain weapons and then open the chest. Doing this will increase the probability of dropping the desired weapon.
