Ghost of the Deep is the newest Dungeon in Destiny 2, and with it lies the first-ever Stasis Wave Frame Grenade Launcher called Pacific Epitaph. Guardians have been anxiously waiting for a Stasis Wave Frame, and at long last, the game has delivered a powerful one.
If a player is looking to acquire this weapon, they might need guidance on how to add it to their arsenal. This Destiny 2 guide should help Guardians find and obtain the Pacific Epitaph Grenade Launcher, along with determining the God Roll for it.
How To Get Pacific Epitaph
For the short and sweet answer, the Pacific Epitaph Grenade Launcher can only be obtained by completing the first and last encounters in the Ghost of the Deep Dungeon. The first boss, Ecthar, will not drop the gun; however, he will drop the other ones. This means that acquiring the weapon will be relatively easy, as players can simply farm the first encounter, the Hive Ritual.
Keep in mind that the armor, along with the other weapons, will also drop from the first encounter, so it isn't a guarantee the Pacific Epitaph will be rewarded on the first try. Of course, repeatedly running the encounter will provide the best results; it simply comes down to RNG on whether the player will earn the gun or not.
Since this Destiny 2 Dungeon is new, it will remain farmable until Season 22 launches at the end of August. Afterward, players will be locked out to one looted run per week, and whatever gear they earn in that run will be the only loot they can obtain that given week.
Pacific Epitaph God Roll
In terms of Destiny 2's God Rolls, the Pacific Epitaph has a lot going for it, but only two perks can be considered the best combo. With that said, the God Roll that players should be looking for is Demolitionist and Adrenaline Junkie.
Demolitionist will grant 10% Grenade energy per kill. On the other hand, Adrenaline Junkie gives a 33% damage increase to the gun after securing multiple Grenade kills. This combo is deadly for virtually any PvE activity, and the best part is, the player doesn't need to run a Stasis subclass for it to work efficiently.
In particular, running an Arc Titan build with this weapon would be great, as they specialize in securing Grenade kills. Void Warlocks would also be very fond of this weapon, as a Contraverse Hold setup can easily nuke an entire field of enemies.
Overall, this weapon is a must-have for Grenade-focused setups, and this gun will likely be a staple in Guardian's loadouts moving forward.
Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
