The Warlord's Ruin dungeon in Destiny 2 comes with In The Shadow of the Mountain, a quest that'll have players scouring the dark age castle in hopes of completely purifying it from the dead Ahamkara's influence. One of the steps in this quest involves finding Blighted Wishing Glass, a special kind of material that can only be found inside the dungeon.

Destiny 2: The Best Hunter Builds For Hard PvE Content

Some of the PvE content in Destiny 2 can be downright punishing. If you main a Hunter, here are some builds that are perfect for difficult content.

Luckily, getting enough pieces of Blighted Wishing Glass isn't as complicated as it sounds. This short guide covers how to get these materials as well as some tips for the rest of dungeon quest.

How to Get Blighted Wishing Glass in Destiny 2

Destiny 2 Rathil Warlords Ruin Dungeon

In order to get Blighted Wishing Glass, players simply need to complete the Warlord's Ruin dungeon encounters all over again. Several steps of the quest require Blighted Wishing Glass, so expect to run the dungeon several more times.

By running the dungeon again, not only will players get all the Blighted Wishing Glass they need over the three boss fights, but they'll also be able to make progress with other steps of the quest, such as collecting Dark Ether Tinctures and finding all of Hefnd's bones scattered throughout the castle.

Destiny 2 Thieving Wretch Dark Ether Tincture

Dark Ether Tinctures are dropped by special Screebs called Thieving Wretches. They appear in set locations around the map, and they'll try to get away from players as soon as they come within proximity. Meanwhile, Hefnd's bones can be found behind the locked doors found all over the castle. Players will be able to dispel higher-level doors once they make enough progress with the quest.

If players are somehow in need of more glass before finishing their current quest step, they should pick any of the boss encounters and just repeatedly farm it until they get what they need. All encounters can be farmed, though the fight against Rathil at the beginning is arguably the fastest and easiest out of the three boss fights in the dungeon. The mob density in this encounter isn't as overwhelming compared to the second and third boss fights, and players only have to worry about shooting Blighted Eyes and capturing the beacons that the boss spawns.

Completing all steps of the In The Shadow of the Mountain quest rewards players with a random piece of Exotic gear that's usable by their character, not the Buried Bloodlines Exotic Sidearm. However, players must still complete this quest in order to get the Buried Bloodline catalyst in a future run of the dungeon.
