Destiny 2 has launched a brand-new content update before the launch of their next major expansion, The Final Shape, called Into the Light. It comes with a new horde mode activity, Onslaught, as well as new weapons and cosmetics.
Destiny 2: The Recluse God Rolls
You should keep these perks in mind when farming for the Recluse in Destiny 2 after the Into The Light update.
These weapons include The Recluse, The Mountaintop, Edge Transit, Falling Guillotine, Blast Furnace, Hammerhead, Elsie's Rifle, Hug Jury SR4, Midnight Coup, Luna's Howl, Forbearance, and Succession.
Hammerhead Overview
Hammerhead is an Adaptive Frame Void Machine Gun that competes with other great existing Machine Guns like Commemoration and Song of Ir Yut. It fortunately has some great perk combinations allowing it to stand on its own in the current sandbox.
What makes Hammerhead stand out is its Origin Trait “Indomitability”, which allows Hammerhead to generate Grenade energy when defeating combatants while on the Light subclass and Melee energy while players are on the Darkness subclass.

Hammerhead DPS God Roll
Machine Guns are not used for boss DPS but against mini-bosses such as champions, they are extremely effective. For DPS, Hammerhead has the perk combination of Fourth Time’s the Charm in the left column with Target Lock in the right.
Destiny 2: Falling Guillotine God Rolls
Falling Guillotine returns to Destiny 2, bringing along a fresh batch of powerful perks that can help the player demolish their enemies.
Fourth Time’s the Charm returns two ammo to the magazine after landing four Precision shots and Target Lock increases the damage of a weapon as long as a weapon remains on a target. This roll combo allows players to keep firing on a single high-health enemy while refunding ammo as well as increasing damage.

Hammerhead PvE God Roll
Machine Guns excel at clearing groups of enemies and Hammerhead has some amazing perks for that. For the barrel option, players can go for any barrel that increases the stats of Hammerhead without any penalty. So Corkscrew Rifling and Smallbore are great barrel options.
For Magazine, players should aim to either increase their Reload Speed or increase the size of their magazine. Light Mag and Flared Magwell are the best options for increasing Reload Speed whereas Appended Mag and Extended Mag exist to increase Magazine Size.
Destiny 2: Edge Transit God Rolls
Edge Transit is a great weapon, with even better perks. Here are the god rolls you should be looking for when farming the weapon in Destiny 2
In the left column of perks, there are plenty of great options, but the main appeal comes from Rampage, which is a damage-dealing perk and is present in the left column. It will boost the damage to Hammerhead by 33 percent upon getting 3 kills.
In the right column of perks, we want something that synergizes well with Rampage. Killing Tally is a great perk option if players want more damage out of this weapon, but Onslaught seems to be the obvious choice for Rampage. Onslaught allows final blows with the weapon to increase its rate of fire.
So, with the perk combination of Rampage and Onslaught, players are not only increasing their damage with Rampage but are also increasing their DPS with the help of Onslaught while buffing their rate of fire.
