Destiny 2 Ghosts Of The Deep Hive Ritual Platform

Starting from the rally banner, there are three routes leading down into the forest. On one of them, a Soulfire Binder ogre will spawn. Kill it, and a trail of green, shiny mist on the ground will lead to the next location of enemies, underneath a Hive symbol. Kill the enemies again, and follow the next trail of green mist.

A Lucent Lightbearer will spawn in the final group of enemies. Take note of the same Hive symbol found above the area one more time, as it will be needed later. Kill the enemies and the Lightbearer, and destroy its ghost. The player who destroys the Lightbearer's ghost will receive a buff called Vestige of Light. The buff is on a timer, so players should rush back to the rally banner, where a Veilweaver Wizard will have spawned. Defeat it, and the Wizard will drop a Deepsight node.

Destiny 2 Deepsight Runes In Ghosts Of The Deep

Once players activate the Deepsight node, the Hive runes around the central platform will become visible. The Vestige of Light must be banked on the correct rune, which is the Hive symbol that was above where the Lightbearer Wizard was defeated. After that, the process repeats itself over and over again.

The area is quite large, but players should be able to learn fairly quickly where enemies will typically spawn, as the green trail will always lead to preset areas. There's no real timer on the encounter, save for when the Vestige of Light is acquired, but even then players typically have over a minute to get back to the rally banner to complete the mechanic. The door leading deeper into the dungeon opens once all runes have been activated.

Destiny 2 is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
