Destiny 2: How to Get Harsh Language

Harsh Language is a void grenade launcher in Season of the Defiant which has become extremely popular. It is a Legendary version of the Rare grenade launcher from the base game and is now part of the wave frame archetype. This alone makes it a fairly powerful weapon as wave frames are excellent at clearing several enemies in a single shot. The fact that it is a void weapon is also very intriguing to many players as it can be combined with some of the extremely strong Void builds in the game and given volatile rounds, increasing its add-clearing potential even further.

These are good enough reasons for players to farm for the weapon but what has truly made Guardians dive into Destiny 2 and get their hands on this weapon as soon as possible is the weapon perks that it can roll with. Harsh Language can roll two new perks for Season of the Defiant which make it one of the best PvE Legendary weapons in the entire game. Envious Assassin adds rounds to the weapon while dealing damage with other weapons and Destabilizing Rounds causes final blows to spread the Volatile status effect to nearby enemies. This combination means players can fire the weapon multiple times without reloading, detonating multiple volatile enemies at once and causing damage across massive areas.

How to Get Harsh Language

To get their hands on Harsh Language in Destiny 2, players will want to farm Legendary engrams. As it is a world drop, it can drop from any engram in the game from sources such as Public Events or leveling up Nimbus on Neomuna. However, it will not drop from Playlist engrams from activities such as Vanguard, Crucible, and Gambit as these activities have their own loot pools.

The best way to farm for the weapon, therefore, is to complete events and defeat major enemies. As many of the new Exotic quests in Lightfall require Patrol and Public Event completion, completing these quests can be a good way to farm for Harsh Language while also getting closer to those new Exotic weapons. Either way, with Neomuna's beautiful scenery, challenging enemies, and new Public Events, the neon city is the best place to farm for this weapon.
