  • Destiny 2 armor customization offers vast options for creating unique looks.
  • DestinyFashion Reddit user recreates Jinx from Arcane with a detailed Hunter costume.
  • Recent Destiny 2 releases provide players with new items for creative costume designs.

A creative Destiny 2 player has drawn a connection between The Last City and Zaun by creating a new customized Guardian setup that resembles Jinx from the Arcane animated series. The form-fitting Destiny 2 Hunter costume uses some of the many different armor parts released over the years for players to refine their appearances.

If there's one advantage to the Destiny 2 armor customization system, it's flexibility and breadth. Thanks to Destiny 2's long lifespan, many players have hundreds of different armor options when mixing and matching parts to create the perfect costume for their Guardian. With developer Bungie constantly adding new items to the mix, fans often have new elements to play with that open additional possibilities. For example, the Blanka mask from the Destiny 2 and Street Fighter crossover powered several highly creative new costumes.

For a new Hunter costume, veteran DestinyFashion Reddit community member iixVanquishxX expertly applied a mix of old and new parts to recreate Jinx's Arcane series appearance. Though already popular as a League of Legends champion, Arcane has catapulted Jinx to a new level of notoriety. Her prominence has fans and even cast members debating Jinx as the villain or hero of Arcane, and her appearance from the series has become her default look for many.

Destiny 2 Player Recreates Jinx From Arcane In New Hunter Costume

Destiny 2 Jinx Costume Parts (Hunter)

  • Head - Chromacloak Mask (Raising Seafoam Shader)
  • Arms - Athrys's Embrace Hunter Exotic (The Wrong Hands Ornament, Gambit Suede Shader)
  • Chest - Abyss Walker Vest (Neon Splash Shader)
  • Legs - Cataclysmic Spellbinder Strides (Bruised Blush Shader)
  • Class Item - Kairos Function Cloak (Tyrian Abyss Shader)

For their Destiny 2 Jinx Hunter costume, iixVanquishxX centered the look around the unique-looking Chromacloak Mask from Destiny 2: The Final Shape. The mask is unusual for its use of a faux hairstyle in its sculpting, and combined with the Raising Seafoam color shader, the mask perfectly recalls Jinx's long blue eye-covering bangs. Jinx's tank top and distinctive purple pants are also recreated using a combination of the Abyss Walker vest, the Cataclysmic Spellbinder strides from the recent Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost, and a form-fitting ornament for the Athrys's Embrace Hunter Exotic. The Kairos Function Hunter cloak also looks nearly identical to Jinx's iconic shark-tooth hood from the Arcane series.

Fellow players heavily praised the Jinx costume, marveling that iixVanquishxX managed to so closely recreate a character well-known for showing a lot of exposed skin. Destiny 2's fashion design usually tends towards mechanical or armored looks since Guardians almost always dress in full-body combat gear, but recent part releases like the Destiny 2 Doki Doki set and certain masks have enabled more organic-looking styles.
