All Data Pad Locations (Week 1) Destiny 2

Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate provides a whole new list of Seasonal Challenges, which release on a weekly rotation, but things are a tad different this time around. Instead of kills with specific weapons in specific activities, Destiny 2 has elected to use collectibles for some lore deep dives and XP gains. Players will need to find all 18 Data Pads in Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate's Week 1 Seasonal Challenges, and they've never been easier to find thanks to the guide below, which shows and describes the exact locations of each Data Pad in every Op in which they are available.

Solo Data Pad Search Part 1

All Data Pads in Solo Ops Activities

There are 3 Data Pads for this quest, and each of them is found in a specific Solo Op:

Solo Op	Data Pad Location
Skywatch	When you reach the outside area after defeating all enemies and clearing the shielded door, turn around to find this Data Pad on a barrel.
The Salt Mines	After clearing the second room, head through the cave to find a massive pit. Before entering the pit below, pick up the Data Pad, which is on a rusted box.
Caldera	At the start of the mission, head forward to a cave with a flag above it, and inside this cave is a Data Pad on the immediate right.

All Data Pads in Fireteam Ops Activities

There are 8 Data Pads for this XP quest to be completed, and 2 can be found in each Fireteam Op, providing a total of 4 Strikes/Battlegrounds that must be completed:

Fireteam Op	Data Pad Location
The Glassway	After defeating the first miniboss, head forward to the right of the exit, where the Data Pad is beside a wall with two metal canisters.
The Glassway	After defeating the second miniboss, head into the floating Vex platform area and take an immediate right to find this Data Pad on a ledge.
The Inverted Spire	On the platform before dropping down to the Cabal tanks, players can find this Data Pad.
The Inverted Spire	After capturing the 3 Cabal plates in the Press Forward objective, head to the right metal grate platform for this Data Pad.
Battleground: Conduit	At the beginning of the Op, head down the first sloped tunnel and look to the left wall to find this Data Pad next to a large plant.
Battleground: Conduit	This Data Pad is found on the right ledge before the kneeling Vex that leads to a portal to the final boss.
Battleground: Delve	At the start of the Op, head to the left to find this Data Pad on the floor by a Vex pillar.
Battleground: Delve	During the Explore the Caverns objective, jump to the left platform that's just before a triangle-shaped door to the final boss encounter for this Data Pad.

All Data Pads in Empire Hunt Activities

Each of the Empire Hunt activities in the Fireteam Ops section has 1 Data Pad to collect, and here's the location of each:

Fireteam Op	Data Pad Location
Empire Hunt: The Dark Priestess	After defeating the miniboss for the Find Kirdis objective, enter the teleporter and the first stairway on the right contains this Data Pad.
Empire Hunt: The Technocrat	In the Pursue Praksis objective, look to the platform on the right for this Data Pad, which is just before the boss room.
Empire Hunt: The Warrior	Near the start of this Fireteam Op, players will head right, where, through the tunnels after the Wyvern, players can turn around to check behind the raised pillar, for this Data Pad.

Pinnacle Data Pad Retrieval Part 1

All Data Pads in Exotic Mission Activities

There are 4 Data Pads in total for this Pinnacle Ops mission, with 2 Data Pads per Exotic Mission, which can be found below:

Pinnacle Op	Data Pad Location
Encore	At the beginning of the Exotic Mission, head past the well and go to the left path and forward, where beneath the cliff is a mossy ledge that can be climbed down to find a rock cave with a Data Pad deep inside on a mossy floor behind a waterfall.
Encore	Before the final boss room, look to the left just before dropping down in the open circle door for this Data Pad.
Kell's Fall	Before going up the rising elevator for the boss arena, head to the right to find this Data Pad on the ground by a dead tree.
Kell's Fall	Before the final boss room after the Trickster, look to the right of the main door for this Data Pad.
