Agape comes with lots of Impact, one of the highest in all the Hand Cannon Pool (92 of base), which turns it into a powerful tool of destruction. The PvE God Rolls for Agape in D2 are Rewind Rounds and Master of Arms. Fluted Barrel will grant Agape extra Stability (5) and Handling (15), which always come in handy for these Heavy-Burst Hand Cannons. For the same reason, Handling is the optimal roll for the Masterwork, since it gives extra control and ready speed. Some players prefer Incandescent to Master of Arms, since it grants a lot more Add Clear that way.

Armor-Piercing Rounds grants an extra edge against overshielded Guardians, and since this Elemental Buff is the meta, it will come in handy. The draw animation for Agape is quite slow, similar to other heavy hand-cannons, so that's its main drawback.
