Everything We Know So Far About Kimetsu x MLB

Actually, not much has been revealed. The official MLB account on X (formerly Twitter) just dropped the news and no further information has been shared either by the MBL nor Demon Slayer accounts. The post features an image with both MLB and Demon Slayer's logos:

The 2025 MLB regular season will run from March 27 to September 18, 2025. However, a two-game series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago Cubs is scheduled for March 17-18, 2025 — and these two matches will be held in Tokyo, Japan.

The collab will likely take place during this two-game series, especially because the official Demon Slayer account used the hashtag "MLBTokyoSeries":

An official announcement with more details is expected to be made at 7:00 AM on March 6 (JST, likely). As baseball is one of the most popular sports in Japan, this collab is seen as huge among the Japanese public.

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Arc Promotional Campaign?

Movie Title

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Arc ("Movie 1")

Release Date (Japan)

July 18, 2025

Runtime

TBA

Over the weekend, it was announced that the first movie of the Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle trilogy will be released in Japan on July 18. As accidentally leaked by Sony Pictures, the movie should hit American theaters on September 12 — it is not common for movies to be released in the US only two months after they debut in Japan, which shows how much Sony is investing in it.

The collaboration with the MLB will likely serve as part of the promotional campaign for the movie, so we might see some nice Infinity Castle-related stuff. They could even release a new trailer for the movie, as the latest one was more like a celebration of the anime as a whole.

According to rumors, the trilogy will have a two-year schedule, with movies coming out in 2025, 2027 and 2029. So far, no information about movies 2 and 3 has been officially shared.
