What Is The Repetitive Action Technique?

How Does One Master This Technique, and What Is It Capable Of?

The Repetitive Action Technique requires the user to open up all five senses, they are able to execute this technique by repeating a specific set of actions or memories that creates mental triggers to help them maintain focus. By repeating a set of actions or constantly using a memory as a trigger point, the user is able to mentally drive themselves to concentrate on their fight rather than getting distracted during combat or lose focus. By utilizing this technique, the user is also able to pull out all the energy from their body for prolonged periods of time. When the user of this technique is engaged, the heart rate and body temperature also increase.

The Repetitive Action Technique combined with breathing techniques also gives the user so much strength that they are able to keep up with upper rank demons. The combination of these two techniques is so powerful that it is even capable of awakening the Demon Slayer Mark, by awakening the Demon Slayer Mark, the user is able to move at incredible speed while their physical strength is increased by a hundred times. The user is also unable to tire out easily and is able to stay in combat mode for as long as their body can withstand. This means that the user can also go above and beyond their limits, making them more powerful during highly stressful situations. This also allows them to stay calm and focused even when battling powerful enemies such as the upper moon demons.

A Powerful Technique For The Strongest Demon Slayers

The uniqueness of this technique is that it highlights the fact that brute strength alone is not enough to defeat powerful demons, and that mental discipline in combat is also what counts when it comes to killing stronger demons. The combination of physical and mental abilities is what enables a Demon Slayer to stay in control of the fight. There are only a few known individuals in the series who are able to use the Repetitive Action Technique, the Stone Hashira - Gyomei Himejima is able to execute this technique but continously praying, Tanjiro is seen unleasing this technique during the Hashira training arc when he learns how to execute the technique from Genya, Tanjiro's reptitive technique is to bring to mind the faces of the people who he loved and reciting Kyojuro Rengoku's phrase - "Set your heart ablaze". Later Inosuke is also seen executing this technique by watching Tanjiro.

underrated demon slayer characters-1
Which Demon Slayer Character is the Most Underrated, and Why?

From my perspective, the most underrated character was Sabito. If not for Sabito's spirit appearing and guiding Tanjiro through the lessons he needed to learn to master Water Breathing, Tanjiro would have never become a Demon Slayer, and Muzan's wrath would have never come to an end in the way that it did. Not only did Sabito hold no envy for Tanjiro as someone who would live on in their place, but he originally lost his life by sacrificing himself to save everyone else in his group from the Hand Demon during his Final Selection. How could anyone possibly hold a negative view of Sabito's character after knowing such information?

To heighten concentration to the utmost limit, you must perform predetermined actions in advance. In my case, I chant Nembutsu - Genya Shinazugawa

During the Hashira training arc, Insouke and Tanjiro were both able to move an extremely large boulder by using this technique, leaving Zenitsu surprised. Finally, Genya Shinazugawa was also able to execute this technique by following his mentor Genya and repeating a mantra in order for him to attain the technique. The concept of the Repetitive Action Technique is not a new phenomenon in the world of combat / sports as many athletes use this technique to motivate themselves to perform better, pushing themselves and their mind to the limit so they can achieve their goals.
