Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 1 was a hit, but now, fans are looking forward to the next movie, Infinity Castle Part 2.
For Demon Slayer fans, Jump Festa 2026 was a major disappointment as it did not bring any new information on the next movie. Anime Japan 2026, however, could be where the big reveals unfold. Anime Japan 2026 will start on March 28, and it will also feature a Demon Slayer stage. Fans are naturally excited to see what's in store for them.
Anime Japan 2026 Is Coming Soon
- Anime Japan will finally begin on March 28, 2026
Throughout the year, anime fans often look forward to various anime events. Earlier in December, for example, was the time for Jump Festa 2026 to take the world by storm, as it focused exclusively on Weekly Shonen Jump series.
Unfortunately, as far as Demon Slayer goes, this event was largely disappointing for the fans. Now, however, another event just as big is coming, and with it, big reveals will follow. That event is Anime Japan 2026, and it'll see many major Shonen Anime series get a stage of their own.
Luckily for fans, the start date of this incredibly exciting event has already been revealed. Anime Japan 2026 begins on March 28, 2026. On that day, monumental franchises like One Piece, My Hero Academia, and Jujutsu Kaisen will all get their own stage. Demon Slayer fans would be delighted to know that their own series is also getting a stage there on the same day. Demon Slayer's stage will be about 30 minutes long, and a lot of exciting content pertaining to Infinity Castle Part 2 could be revealed there. Included in the Red Stage, Demon Slayer’s event will begin in Japan on March 28 at 12:15, and last until 12:50.
In Pacific Time for the US, this event would unfold on the 27th March from 8:15 PM till 8:50 PM.
Fans in Japan have an amazing opportunity to attend the event in person, but of course, tickets should be bought in advance as the Red Stage is not open to the general public.
Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 2 Likely To Receive Big Updates During Anime Japan
- Jump Festa 2026 was disappointing, but Anime Japan could be filled with surprises
Jump Festa 2026 was a major event, but it was disappointing for the vast majority of the series that it featured, including Demon Slayer. Sadly, that did not happen.
Demon Slayer: 7 Best Episodes, Ranked
These are arguably the best Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba episodes so far.
For the most part, Demon Slayer's Jump Festa stage was just focused on its voice actors. It is highly likely that the time wasn't right for making big announcements, and that the surprises were kept for later. The big reveals for Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 2 could now be coming during the next big event, which is Anime Japan 2026.
Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 2 Release Date and Teaser Could Be Revealed
- Fans anticipate a 2027 release date
Fans of Demon Slayer should definitely not get their hopes up. After all, fans were already greatly disappointed during Jump Festa.
That said, there is a strong possibility of major reveals coming around in Anime Japan 2026. Of course, the biggest reveal that fans would like to see concerning Infinity Castle Part 2 would be a release date, or at the very least, a release date window. Fans could get confirmation of the year this movie could be coming out, which many anticipate to be 2027, two years after the first movie.
At the same time, a small teaser and maybe even a Key Visual could be unveiled at the event. If Infinity Castle Part 2 is truly coming next year, then Anime Japan would be the perfect time to announce it.
Infinity Castle Part 2 Will Focus On Doma, Kokushibo, And Nakime
- Major battles are coming up in Infinity Castle
Fans are definitely excited to see the continuation of the story of Demon Slayer through the next movie, Infinity Castle Part 2, which appears to be set for a release in 2027.
So far, the story has been very exciting. The Demon Slayers, including the likes of Tanjiro and the Hashira, were thrust into the Infinity Castle. Many major battles unfolded in the first movie, such as the intense clash of Shinobu Kocho and Doma, where the latter came out on top. Doma aside, Kaigaku, the new Upper Rank 6, has fallen against one of the main trio, Zenitsu. Their battle was flashy but ended rather quickly. Fans also saw Akaza, who stole the show in the first movie, fall.
Now is the time for other characters to take center stage in Infinity Castle Part 2, such as Doma. Kanao is already present in the same room, and she could be the next Combatant to take on the Upper Rank 2.
In order to soothe the spirits of those it killed, and to make sure it claims no further victims, I will swing my blade down and lop off the head of any demon without mercy! But I will not belittle those who regret their actions and suffer over the things they did as demons. Because demons were once human. Because they were like me.
These battles are exciting, but even bigger fights are coming in the second movie. Doma is still up and needs to be killed, and fans can't forget about the strongest of Muzan's underlings, Kokushibo. Of course, the new Upper Rank 4, Nakime, is also a major threat that needs to be dealt with. When she falls, so will the Infinity Castle.
If the first Infinity Castle movie was an appetizer, what comes next is going to be absolutely huge and fans absolutely cannot wait to see the action that the next part of the trilogy delivers. Hopefully, Anime Japan will give the fans a glimpse of just that, as they've been left without a tease for way too long now.
Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle is out in theaters now. Fans who don’t want to wait for the movies to drop can check the manga out on Manga Plus. Meanwhile, for the anime, the series currently has 4 anime seasons. These anime seasons can all be found on Crunchyroll. The remainder of the series will, however, be animated into movies, which fans will have to wait for their theatrical release to watch, depending on their country.
