While the Temari Demon was fairly simple to deal with, the unique powers of the Arrow Demon elevated the action of the fight considerably and makes it clear why fans love this early flight in Demon Slayer.
5 Tsuzumi Mansion Arc
Zenitsu Debuts His Skills, And Tanjiro Beats Kyogai On His Turf

After entering Kyogai's mansion, Tanjiro knows he's in for a tough battle. The former Lower Rank Demon Moon is no joke and toys with the protagonist on his home turf, which is why it's amazing to see Tanjiro adapt and survive by any means necessary as he uses moves in a fluid motion to finally behead this demon.
The cherry on top of this arc is that fans get to see Zenitsu's true power, surprising them greatly. For a character who cries a lot, Zenitsu's surprising mastery over the first form of Thunder Breathing allows him to behead a powerful demon in one fell swoop.
4 Entertainment District Arc

Seeing Inosuke saved in the nick of time as Zenitsu shows off an ultra-powered version of Thunder Breathing's First Form to defeat his foe is great, but the highlight is easily Tanjiro's fight against Rui. After being on the brink of defeat, Tanjiro remembers his father's Sun Breathing dance and replicates it to cut through Rui's blood-infused threads. The cherry on top of this visual spectacle is Nezuko using her Blood Demon Art for the first time to save her brother and cement his victory, even if the next episode somewhat cheapens the effect of this moment by showing that Rui survived.
2 Swordsmith Village Arc
The Action Starts Almost Instantly As The Demon Slayers Break Their Limits And Awaken Their Mark

After the intense events of the Entertainment District arc, Tanjiro joins with a new group to reforge his sword and learn more about Sun Breathing. However, the Upper Rank 4 & 5 Demon Moons aren't far behind, kickstarting the action near-instantly as the demon slayers are forced into a fight for their lives once again.

Tanjiro came a long way in Demon Slayer and became a powerful warrior. But was he ever able to surpass Yorichi?
As enthralling as Tanjiro, Mitsuru, and Genya's skills are, Muichiro steals the show in this arc. After Gyokko gets the drop on him and almost manages to kill the Mist Hashira, he is reminded of the strife he endured as a child and awakens his Demon Slayer Mark for the first time, unleashing a new level of power and annihilating Gyokko in one of the most satisfying beatdowns in the series.
