The Cerulean Coast is one of the areas in Shadow of the Erdtree that can be accessed through Charo's Hidden Grave. The area is filled with mesmerizing blue flowers and stone coffins that serve as an access point to one of the NPC's questlines. This guide includes a step-by-step walkthrough on how to reach Demi-Human Queen Marigga and how players can defeat her to obtain the rare Katana.

The area and the boss located there are both optional and do not affect the main story of the DLC in any way.

Oil-Soaked Tear is located in Scadu Altus. Here is how Elden Ring players can reach it.

How To Reach Demi-Human Queen Marigga

There are two ways players can access Cerulean Coast. The first route is from Ellac River Cave, which goes downstream, eventually leading to the Cerulean Coast. The other method requires the player to go through the Dragon's Pit, exiting to Charo's Hidden Grave. Players can head north from the Grace at Grand Altar of Dragon Communion to reach Jagged Peak, or take the path west, which leads to the Cerulean Coast. You must head west from the Cerulean Coast Site of Grace until you reach another Lost Grace.

Summon your Torrent again at the Cerulean Coast West Site of Grace to ride east and turn left as you pass the first stone coffin. This will take you through a passage between the mountains leading to an area where a Demi-Human is using a Glinstone Katana.

You can summon your Spirit Ash here to deal with this enemy or ignore it.

Head north, then northwest, approaching multiple Demi-Humans. Just follow this path, and it will soon lead to the shore where the Demi-Human Queen Marigga is located. Defeating her drops the Star-Lined Sword, a Katana with a unique Weapon Skill.

How To Beat Demi-Human Queen Marigga

Demi-Human Queen Marigga Boss Fight in Shadow of the Erdtree

The Demi-Human Queen Marigga is an optional boss with a small and predictable moveset. You may have noticed that she is surrounded by Demi-Human enemies who can be a bother if they are not dealt with. As the boss herself can pack a serious punch, taking her on with the enemies around is not advisable. Most enemies should go down in a few hits, except for one with a higher health pool.

If you use a Faith Build, you can equip the Sacred Relic Sword and start spamming its weapon Skill from afar, taking out all the normal enemies around the boss.

Once the fight begins, Marigga will start casting Glintstone magic attacks similar to the Sorceries you might have obtained in the base game. You can easily avoid these by dodging to either side as the attack comes near you. If you get close enough to her to deal damage, the boss can use her fist to slam you down or use the staff as a slash attack.

This is one of the easier bosses in the DLC, and should not be very difficult. However, if you find it difficult to deal with her and the enemies surrounding her, you can use summoned help. Spirit Ashes and Online players can be summoned to aid you in this fight. Spirit Ashes can be a good choice because the boss's health will not scale, and you will have a helping hand. However, online players can be found using some of the best builds, which you might have access to depending on when you visit her in the DLC.
