The Nintendo Switch features many genres that can rack up lists upon lists, by "Sci-Fi Thriller" is not one it has in abundance. That is going to be changing this year as Deliver Us The Moon graces the Nintendo platform in a few months.
Developer KeokeN Interactive have confirmed that the previously announced Nintendo Switch version of Deliver Us The Moon will be releasing on August 14. The release of the Nintendo Switch version will coincide with the physical "Deluxe Editions."
The announcement came via a press release by KeokeN Interactive. These premium editions will include the original soundtrack as well as a 100-page digital artbook. The editions are currently set at the price point of €30 (~$33). Deliver Us The Moon just recently released digitally on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One after debuting on PC in 2019. The Xbox One version also debuted on Xbox Game Pass.
The Intersteller-esque adventure has received positive reception based across previously released versions. It touts itself as a "Sci-Fi Thriller" where players are tasked with exploring the remnants of base dedicated to energy resources from the moon. While defining its narrative genre, Deliver Us The Moon takes cues from the contemporary first person adventure games where atmosphere and story take precedent.
Deliver Us The Moon is just the next announcement in the flood of Switch ports recently revealed. From ports of recent cult hits like Disco Elysium, to returns of older games like Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee, the Nintendo platform is getting a stacked lineup for 2020.
Deliver Us The Moon is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, with a Switch version coming August 14.
