- Good starter words are comprised of five different letters that are common to Wordle puzzles.
- All words must be a five-letter English words.
- While they can be used as guesses, Wordle answers cannot be previous answers or plural nouns ending in S or ES.
- While Wordle words can contain duplicated letters, players will most likely not want to start with one.
Once a good starting Wordle word has been chosen, players will need to type it into the website and press enter. This will cause the letters of the word to change colors, and each color has a meaning that will help players solve the puzzle of the day.
- If letters become green, they are right.
- If letters become gray, they are incorrect.
- Yellow letters are right but in the wrong position(s) in the word.
Players have six total tries to try new words and get new color-coded clues.
