Death Stranding 2: On the Beach focuses on Sam carrying cargo over long distances while trying to connect the Chiral Network in Mexico. Aside from facing BTs and human enemies, there are other problems that can arise as Sam explores the different terrains.
Death Stranding 2: How to Repair Cargo
Cargo is as precious as connecting humanity to the Chiral Network in Death Stranding 2, so how can players repair it against damage and Timefall rain?
While losing stamina and health are important concerns, making sure Sam relieves himself by urinating should also not be overlooked during the course of the game. This guide includes all the information on how players can urinate and what actually happens after doing so in Death Stranding 2.
How to Urinate in Death Stranding 2
After drinking the cans found on the table inside your private room or drinking from the canteen, your urination meter will start to increase slowly.
If it reaches the maximum of 1000, Sam might begin to feel off, which is not recommended.
To urinate, you must go to a private room located inside bunkers, distribution centers, or safehouses that you’ll come across during the game. Once Sam wakes up and is sitting on the bed, look to the side to spot the door that leads to the surface—it also provides the option to use the toilet or shower. Press Circle on your controller, and a cutscene will play, completing the action and fully relieving Sam.
If you're out on a journey and can't access a private room, then peeing out in the open is your only option. To do this, hold the right D-pad to open the weapons/tools dial. Move the joystick downward to find the urination meter, then press X, hold L2 to ready, and R2 to let loose.
Should You Urinate Outside or in a Private Room in Death Stranding 2?
Though you are free to urinate wherever you want, there are different outcomes for each option. Unlike Death Stranding 1, where urinating inside the private room would create EX grenades used against BTs, the second installment works differently, and grenade construction is no longer present. Urinating inside Private rooms in Death Stranding 2 now rewards you with Chiral Crystals, which can be used to increase your carry capacity and more.
Urinating outside will cause a mushroom to begin growing, which other players can interact with by giving a like. The more people urinate in the same location, the more mushrooms will grow, eventually forming a cluster.
