Death Stranding 2 continues Sam Porter Bridges’ journey across fractured landscapes, where fabrication plays a vital role in survival. From building structures to crafting tools, players must rely on fabricating essential gear to make traversal smoother and safer in this hostile world.
Where to Find Golden Chiral Creatures in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach
Locate and kill the rare Golden Chiral Creature to unlock Death Stranding 2's 'Conqueror of the Golden CC' trophy.
One such piece of gear is the Battle Skeleton. It consumes battery power to boost Sam’s movement speed, increases the amount of cargo he can carry, and reduces damage taken from enemy projectiles. It's an indispensable tool for tougher routes and combat situations. Here's everything players need to know to unlock the Battle Skeleton in Death Stranding 2.
How to Unlock Battle Skeleton In Death Stranding 2
To unlock the Battle Skeleton, players must make their way to the Government's Base in Australia, where they receive Order 10. This order requires them to deal with the Brigands at the Western Environmental Observatory. There are quite a few Brigands scattered around the observatory, so it's best to leave your cargo in a safe place and approach stealthily if you don’t want to risk it. Using the Strand for Stealth Knockdowns should make quick work of them.
Once all the Brigands have been dealt with, head to the terminal and interact with it to connect the Observatory to the Chiral Network. This completes the order, and players will unlock the Battle Skeleton Lv. 1 along with some additional rewards.
Battle Skeleton: Silver Lv. 1 also unlocks from this mission if you pre-ordered the game, and Battle Skeleton: Gold Lv. 1 will unlock if you purchased the Digital Deluxe Edition.
How to Unlock the Upgraded Versions of the Battle Skeleton in Death Stranding 2
To unlock Battle Skeleton Lv. 2, players must increase their connection with the Western Environmental Observatory to Level 3. Similarly, to unlock Battle Skeleton Lv. 3, players will need Connection Level 4. To raise your connection level quickly, retrieve lost cargo found in random locations while exploring the area around the Observatory.
You can also complete a few Standard and Sub-Orders for the Observatory to speed up the process. Since a large portion of this area will have properly built roads after completing the order, you can use a bike to move around and complete deliveries much faster.
