In Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, the road mechanic from the original game has been significantly expanded. Circling the entire continent of Australia, players could spend the entire running time of some games simply building roads. And like the original, players build these roads through a vast network of Auto-Paver machines. All Auto-Paver Locations in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach
AUS-HIGHWAY-01 Complete Map:
The first section of Auto-Paver road is AUS-HIGHWAY-01, which is found in the southwest corner of Australia, and is made up of 11 Auto-Pavers that stretch east from the southeastern edge of West Fort Knot to the F5 East Distribution Center. There is a small patch of land on the west side of F5 that will not connect to the Chiral Network until late in Episode 8. Avoiding as many spoilers as possible, we'll say that there is a major fight in Episode 8 that takes place on this patch of land. Once that occurs, you'll be able to take advantage of the network. This will primarily affect Auto-Paver 01-09 and Auto-Paver 01-10.
AUS-HIGHWAY-02 Complete Map:
AUS-HIGHWAY-02 is the second stretch of highway in Death Stranding 2. It is located in northeastern Australia and runs from the northeast corner of West Fort Knot, then all the way up to the area south of the F2 South Distribution Center, then back down to the Northern Environmental Observatory. There are 11 Auto-Pavers that make up this route.
AUS-HIGHWAY-03 Complete Map:
AUS-HIGHWAY-03 is the third highway system in Death Stranding 2, and it is by far the longest. Made up of 14 Auto-Pavers, this stretch of road extends across the center of the map, starting on the eastern side of the F2 South Distribution Center, passing through the Twin Valley Mine, winds past the Data Scientist and Savanna Mine, before making a sharp turn and ending at East Fort Knot.
AUS-HIGHWAY-04 Complete Map:
AUS-HIGHWAY-04 is the shortest section of road in the game. It is located in the northeast corner of Australia, and acts as a branch of the 03 Highway. It begins to head north at Auto-Paver 03-08, eventually coming to an end at the Northeastern Mine. There are only 5 Auto-Pavers along this stretch of highway.
AUS-HIGHWAY-05 Complete Map:
The fifth and final highway, AUS-HIGHWAY-05, winds around the southeastern corner of Australia. It begins at the back of East Fort Knot, winding down along the coast before making its way slightly inland at the base of the mountain. There are 12 Auto-Paver stations along this stretch of highway, which takes Sam through the final regions of Death Stranding 2.
