Dead by Daylight Tome 22: Anguish is now available. The latest addition to The Archives introduces new Dead by Daylight outfits and tales, among other novelties.
The Archives is a feature that allows players to explore Dead by Daylight lore beyond the base game experience. It consists of Tomes, which are structured as books with multiple chapters to complete. Each page in a Tome has a selection of challenges of varying difficulty, which offer an assortment of rewards. Completing them also helps players progress through The Rift, Dead by Daylight's battle pass-like system. Since October 2019, developer Behaviour Interactive has released 21 Tomes.
Dead by Daylight Will Make Highly Requested Change to The Nightmare
Behaviour Interactive shares its January Developer Update for Dead by Daylight, which details upcoming changes to The Nightmare.
Continuing this trend, the 22nd addition to The Archives was unveiled on January 28. Called Anguish, the latest Dead by Daylight Tome introduces new tales, The Rift rewards, and outfits—some of which will expand a number of the game's existing collections. Among other things, Tome 22 features new memories for Jane Romero, showing her interviewing family members of people taken by The Fog. This story hence promises to reveal new examples of how The Entity can even affect people beyond its immediate reach.
Dead by Daylight Tome 22 Introduces New Rift Rewards
Dead by Daylight's The Blight is also getting some new memories, in which he'll continue the experiments that caused his horrific mutation. Moreover, Tome 22 introduces new rewards for players wanting to grind in The Rift. This time around, the seasonal incentives arrive in the form of multiple outfits designed to embody the torment of Trials. The lineup includes Ultra Rare outfits for The Huntress and Jane Romero. Ensembles for The Blight, The Plague, and The Knight are also part of the package, as are those for Thalita Lyra, David King, and Renato.
Tome 22: Anguish is available starting today, January 28. Its arrival coincides with the return of Dead by Daylight's Lunar New Year Collection, which now features a new red and gold outfit for The Skull Merchant.

The Artists from The Fog Collection is also set to expand on February 4, introducing outfits for Sable Ward and The Unknown made by community artist DuckieGrumpy, who aimed to reimagine the characters as Little Red Riding Hood and Big Bad Wolf from the famous European fairy tale. Days Gone By Collection is then scheduled to add new outfits for The Twins, The Deathslinger, and Jake Park on February 18, followed by The Iron Maiden Collection introducing new t-shirts for Taurie Cain and Sable Ward on February 25.
