According to a known leaker, Dead by Daylight may feature a collaboration with Resident Evil 7 and 8 in the November licensed chapter. Dead by Daylight has already collaborated a few times with Resident Evil, bringing characters and villains from the acclaimed survival horror franchise into its thrilling multiplayer experience, and it looks like fans could be treated to yet another crossover between the two games later in 2025.

Behaviour Interactive’s eerie asymmetrical horror game provides the perfect setup for spooky, well-known villains and popular figures from movies and games. This is precisely why Dead by Daylight has featured many crossovers in its almost 10 years on the market, treating fans to a wealth of fun yet frightening killers from popular games like Silent Hill, Alan Wake, or movies like Nightmare on Elm Street and Hellraiser. But the crossovers don’t only add villains—they also introduce survivors with different abilities to cope with the villains’ merciless skills. Behaviour’s Dead by Daylight roadmap content teased a bunch of content coming in 2025, but now, a new game leak teases a new crossover that fans may be excited to see happening.

Dead by Daylight May Crossover with Resident Evil 7 and 8 in November Chapter

While the introduction of these Resident Evil characters is just a rumor and nothing has been officially confirmed yet, SomeMockodile noted that Behaviour had implied that future collaborations with Capcom were possible, which opens the door for a new crossover. In addition to the Resident Evil crossover, Ruthless also claimed to have heard about a South Korean map based on the Trickster as a potential new addition for March 2026, though this is also speculation.

The latest Dead by Daylight crossover with Resident Evil brought special gameplay options like the 2v8 mode, iconic characters like Nemesis and the Mastermind, and the iconic Raccoon City Police Department as a new map.
