Description
The acclaimed strategy classic Worms makes its debut on Nintendo DS in Worms: Open Warfare. With its touch screen and stylus, Nintendo DS is the perfect home for Worms' point-and-click control system, first seen in the original game more than a decade ago.
Worms is a turn-based strategy game with its tongue firmly in its cheek. Instead of soldiers, you command a battalion of armed-to-the-teeth wrigglers. Dropped onto a randomly generated 2-D battlefield occupied by enemy worms, you simply take turns to attack each other until one team is wiped out.
Fans of the series will be pleased to know that the classic over-the-top weaponry from the original makes a comeback; including bazookas, homing missiles, bouncing bombs and even exploding sheep!
Each explosion makes its mark on the destructible landscape, meaning you must adapt to an ever-changing environment. Retaining the same award-winning gameplay, wacky sense of humour and clever mix of action and strategy, Worms: Open Warfare also brings the series bang up to date with a multiplayer mode for up to four players via local wireless link.
