The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

I played it 3 times, but the first 2 times I dropped the game in Baron's quest.

The problem with The Witcher is that the initial quests feel quite dull and repetitive. In fact, the worst part of the game is the first few hours, but when it starts rolling, it's really hard to pause it.

The story, the settings, the soundtrack, the combats, they are all amazing and all add up to the greatness of this epic adventure.

An absolute masterpiece in every way. The world, the characters, and the choices all make it unforgettable. But let’s be real—Gwent completely stole the show for me. I spent more time in taverns playing cards than hunting monsters, and I have no regrets.

One of the best RPGs ever made! As a newbie to the Witcher series I was completely enthralled, and quickly became addicted to gwent as well as wandering the open world. The DLC content is also massive for this game, and full of memorable characters and locations.

A beautiful game with one of the best protagonists of all time, none other than Geralt the White Wolf. A truly fitting capstone to Geralt's story, with plenty of meaningful choices and memorable quests. The father daughter bond between Geralt and Ciri is one of my favorite stories in all of gaming.

The Witcher 3 is a masterpiece, but it does take some time to fully grab you. The quests at the beginning can feel a bit slow and repetitive, but once the story picks up, it becomes an unforgettable experience. The characters, world-building, and side quests are absolutely phenomenal, making it easy to get lost in its rich narrative. That said, I was a bit disappointed with the final boss, it didn’t quite live up to the epic buildup the game had created. Still, it’s a minor flaw in what is otherwise one of the greatest RPGs of all time. 

If you're wondering why I didn't give this absolute masterpiece of an RPG a perfect score, it's because you can't play Gwent with literally every person or animal you come across. Yeah, I could spend 400+ hours doing every quest and hunt, but what if I want to spend Balatro-levels of time on card games? Guess I can keep my fingers crossed for The Witcher 4, please come through for me CDPR.

The Witcher 3 may be the best installment in The Witcher series. This game has the most side-quests I've experienced in an open-world RPG, and like Skyrim, I felt compelled to explore every corner of this world. The characters and dialogue choices are engaging and the magic system is wonderful. 100% looking forward to The Witcher 4, especially because of Ciri.

It's absurd to think that this game is turning 10 in 2025. If it was released today, it would still be a GOTY contender on account of its absolutely incredible and expansive world, immersive combat, and thrilling story-telling. Reviewing this just makes me want to dive back in and play again, something I find myself doing every few months.

The Witcher 3 being a decade old is a testament to the brilliance of CD Projekt RED. The game withstands 10 years with almost no faults, and that's when one considers the incredible story, entwining side missions that involve moral conundrums and investigation, challenging combat, and of course, the beloved and unforgettable card game of Gwent.

Easily the best rpg ever made. The story is amazing, characters are still the best in any game to this day, the combat is immersive, world is gorgeous, and it has stood the test of time. Truly the perfect open world game

Its side quests are so thoughtfully crafted and emotionally engaging that they often feel as compelling as the main campaign, setting a gold standard for narrative depth in gaming. From stunning locations to branching storylines, The Witcher 3 is a journey that never truly ends—something RPG fans will never complain about.

The Witcher 3 is a legit masterpiece. The world, characters, and choices are incredible, and I’ve lost count of how many hours I’ve spent exploring. The combat isn’t perfect, but the storytelling more than makes up for it. Kudos!
