The Lord of the Rings: War of the Ring is a hidden gem for anyone who loves strategy games and Tolkien’s world. It’s set during the War of the Ring and lets you control either the forces of good or evil, each with their own unique strengths. What I really enjoyed was the blend of real-time strategy with RPG elements, allowing me to build armies, engage in tactical battles, and even control heroes from the lore like Aragorn or Saruman. While the graphics may seem dated now, the depth of the strategic gameplay and the faithful recreation of Middle-earth kept me invested. It’s not as polished as some other fantasy RTS games, but it’s a great way to immerse yourself in the Lord of the Rings universe with some solid strategy action.
