While The Last of Us Part 1 can be deducted a point or two due to how it's a remake with a fresh coat of textures and stunning visuals, it's impossible to deny that despite being released over a decade ago, the game still holds up in terms of gameplay and story. The Last of Us is deserving of praise for how it tugs at the heartstrings by telling an incredible story of a grieving father in a world overrun by savagery.

The Last of Us Part I delivers an emotional rollercoaster with its compelling story and characters. The gameplay is tight and tense, though some sections feel a bit too linear. It’s a modern classic.

I played this on my ps3 back in the days and it was stunning. I connected the same ps3, on the TV where is my PS5...and was again amazed at how good the game looks on 15 years old console (give or take). It is an Absolutely-must-play. Haven't gone through the remastered tbh, but I am not wondering why it's at first place here.
