Streets of Rage

The original Streets of Rage was developed by Sega and was initially released in 1991. The beat 'em up game had co-op capabilities, an excellent techno soundtrack, and comparable gameplay to Golden Axe, another beat 'em up game from Sega. Two other Streets of Rage games were released in the '90s before the series seemingly ended. However, the franchise made a comeback in 2020 with the critically-acclaimed Streets of Rage 4.
