SteamWorld Dig 2 is a charming, action-packed platformer that combines exploration, puzzle-solving, and a bit of mining. And I think the story is simple but effective, and the visuals are stunning for a 2D game. My only issue is that some of the puzzles can feel a little too easy, and the game’s progression can feel a bit predictable. Still, it’s an enjoyable and polished experience.

I entered this game blindly and randomly downloaded it from Game Pass, but then I realized what a masterpiece it was.
I never felt digging rocks could be so much satisfying. The game just delivers a great sandbox experience with some great boss battles and challenging platforming moments.
