Romance of the Three Kingdoms XI has a special place in my heart for its old-school charm and depth. It’s got a slower pace compared to later entries, but that’s what makes it so engaging—it’s all about planning, managing relationships, and building up your power from the ground up. I love the way the game focuses on character development and strategy, where you can recruit historical figures, use them in both warfare and diplomacy, and see how their traits affect your empire. It’s a game that’s heavy on micromanagement, but if you’re into that sort of thing, it’s incredibly satisfying. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of newer titles, but its depth and complexity keep me coming back for more.
