Resident Evil 4 (2023) takes the classic and makes it feel fresh while keeping all the tension and horror I loved about the original. The visuals are jaw-dropping, and the over-the-shoulder perspective makes the action feel more immersive than ever. Leon’s still the cool-headed badass we know, but the upgraded combat and AI really keep you on your toes. The enemies are relentless, and the boss fights are intense. My only nitpick? The pacing felt a bit off at times, especially when some sections dragged longer than they needed to. Still, if you’re a fan of the series or survival horror in general, this one’s a must-play.

The original RE4 is one of my favourite games of all time, and the remake certainly did it justice. There were some changes I wasn't a fan of, but other areas that I liked better than the OG, so it's hard to decide which of the two I like better.

This was just pure fun. They nailed the remake with smoother combat and a moodier vibe, but it’s still the same badass Leon. I didn’t want it to end. Give me more of those Leon Roundhouse Kicks!
