The visuals are stunning—Studio Ghibli’s fingerprints are all over it—but the auto-play mechanics? Not so much. I felt more like a spectator than a player half the time. That said, the charm of the world kept me around longer than I expected, and the music is absolutely magical. It’s great if you’re in the mood for a laid-back experience, but don’t expect it to scratch that deep RPG itch.
