The story is still one of the highlights—Vito’s rise through the ranks is packed with twists and tough choices. The visuals got a nice upgrade, making the 1940s/50s atmosphere feel even more immersive, and the car driving around the city is as satisfying as ever. While the game is beautiful, it does show its age in the gameplay department. The shooting mechanics feel a bit clunky, and the open world is there but doesn’t offer much beyond the main story.

By far the best Mafia experience available, it improves upon its predecessor in small ways and creates one of the most atmospheric open worlds around! Even if its not perfect, it's certainly unique and any fan of the gangster/crime genre will love it!
