Final Fantasy XI holds a special place in my heart as my first real dive into the world of MMORPGs. It was such a unique experience, exploring Vana’diel alongside players from around the world. I remember the sense of awe and excitement I felt when venturing into dangerous areas with a party, where teamwork was absolutely essential. The game’s slower pace and reliance on social interaction made it stand out from other MMOs I’ve played. While some of the mechanics feel dated now, I still appreciate the depth and challenge it offered. It’s a game that truly rewarded patience and community.
