Earthbound begins by telling the story of a young married couple from rural America who mysteriously vanished after a dark shadow covered their small country town of Mother's Day. Two years later, the husband George, returned as mysteriously as he vanished. He began a strange study in complete seclusion. His wife, Maria, was never heard from again.
George calls upon his son, Ninten, to assist in investigating this mysterious phenomenon occurring in Mother's Day and across the world. George explains to Ninten his great grandfather's studies of PSI, enabling one to have psychic abilities!
Help Ninten in his journey as he meets new friends, discovers his own psychic abilities and discover what is behind this strange phenomenon.
