Description
DayZ is a hardcore survival game where players must strive to endure a post-apocalyptic world populated by frenzied infected and other survivors. DayZ includes the original Chernarus terrain, and the Livonia terrain.
Chernarus – The iconic DayZ terrain, set in the post-soviet state of Chernarus and encompassing 230 km2 of hand-crafted environment based on real life locations.
Livonia – The dense 163 km2 map lets players experience the hardcore survival hit in a whole new environment. Players can put their survival skills to the test by venturing into the unfamiliar land of Livonia, and seeing just how long they can last in this deadlier-than-ever world.

An incredible achievement considering this started off as a mod. This was essentially the first large scale MMO survival/battle royale game around - a truly legendary game!

I love the Frostline map. It weeds out the ones who can't survive.

The thing I love about DayZ is its brutal world. There is no save for loss. If you die, it's the end. And that makes every playthrough different.
The more you live, the more you feel dependent on your character, which makes losing it quite difficult. And that's why you always feel unsafe playing this game!
The graphics, however, are quite outdated and there are some non-fixable bugs that could make some rare situations unfair.

Dayz is one of my favorite games but the devs just don't care about the fan base- example there has been duping mean player can duplicate their gear and not have to really pkay and then find your base and just dupe bombs and be extremely toxic..
